Boys and Girls Program
Wall Township Boys and Girls Teams
The Wall Lacrosse Club is for boys and girls in third grade through eighth grade. There are practices 3 times a week. When the season starts games and tournaments will typically replace one of those practice days. Our coaches work with the Wall High school coaches and each other to build continuity from the very start. Each season we start with the basics so newer players can get comfortable and we can refresh the skills of more experienced players. Our players learn from experienced coaches and build team skills through out the year. The players will learn the game and learn to be good teammates.
K-2 Beginner Clinic
Wall Township K-2 Boys and Girls Lacrosse Spring Clinic
The Wall Township K-2 lacrosse program is a clinic-based program aimed at teaching kids the fundamentals of lacrosse. Practices will run on Sundays for 1 to 1.5 hours and focus on the basic concepts of Lacrosse using a simple skills and drills format. Both boys and girls will also have 1 to 2 controlled scrimmages at the end of the season. These scrimmages are not about scoring goals and winning, but more about getting kids experience in basic game situations and teaching them along the way.
If your child is looking to try lacrosse, this will be a great introduction.
K-2 boys are required to wear full equipment (cleats and mouth guards are optional). Even though there is no contact at this level we still feel it is important to have full protection from flying balls and the occasional swinging stick (which is hard to avoid)
K-2 girls will need a stick and goggles (cleats and mouth guards are optional).
